Learn More about the Process

I utilize a traditional Chinese method to prepare your placenta, ensuring a thorough and respectful process. The preparation begins with carefully cleaning and washing the placenta with warm water, followed by detaching it from the amniotic sac and umbilical cord. I then steam the placenta over a lemon-infused water bath at 131 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes, allowing the nutrients to be preserved. After steaming, it undergoes dehydration for 18 to 24 hours to thoroughly dry it out. Once dried, the placenta is ground into a fine powder and encapsulated into vegan capsules, providing a convenient and easily consumable form. Throughout this process, I maintain a sanitized area and wear appropriate protective gear to ensure safety and hygiene at every step. Your placenta is prepared with care and respect, honoring its significance in your journey.

I prioritize the highest safety standards and cleanliness during the processing of your placenta. To ensure a safe product, I primarily use disposable, single-use tools for the encapsulation process. Any reusable tools, such as stainless steel instruments, undergo rigorous washing and sanitization to meet health guidelines. Additionally, when I assess your placenta, there may be instances where it is deemed unfit for encapsulation, such as if it is meconium-stained. In such cases, I will promptly inform you of the situation, and you will not be required to pay the full fee. Your safety and satisfaction are my top priorities throughout this process.

Drop Off

Once the encapsulation process is complete, I will personally deliver your placenta to your home. During this delivery, I will ask you to sign a release of liability waiver to ensure that all parties are protected. Additionally, I will collect payment from you at this time. If you have any questions about the delivery or the encapsulation process, please feel free to ask, and I will be happy to assist you.

Pick Up

I will come to the location where you gave birth during business hours to pick up your placenta. It’s important to ensure that your placenta is placed on ice within two hours of the birth for optimal preservation. Once you are ready for the pickup, please send me a message with the address. In a hospital setting, they usually provide buckets with ice if you express your wish to keep the placenta. I will meet with the designated person you choose at the hospital's front entrance. Remember to label your placenta with your name. In a home setting, please keep your placenta in ice or refrigerate it until I arrive for the pickup. Your cooperation in these steps is essential for a smooth and safe collection process.
